What hair products do I use?

Happy Friday, all! I wanted to start off the Beauty Blog from Bantam Salon & Spa by answering one of the most common questions we receive behind the chair- "What products do you use at home?". I am a total product collector...I love trying lots of different products. It allows me to prescribe the perfect regimen for my clientele. I love a ton of different products, and change them out often. But, here's 5 of my favorite products that I use on my own hair at home! We'll start with the basics...

Shampoo & Conditioner- Sebastian Volupt Shampoo and Drench Conditioner

The combination of these two products not only smells amazing, it leaves my hair with an incredibly soft bounce! The Volupt shampoo is designed to give you extra lift and volume, which helps make the layers in my hair really dance. The Drench conditioner is thick and moisturizing. I put it on my strands from the earlobes down, and rinse with cooler water to help close the cuticle and reduce tangles and breakage! I wash my hair every 3 days to maintain strong, moisturized locks.

Pre-styling Products- amika: Blockade Heat Protectant Serum and Verb Styling Cream

It is so important to use a heat protectant on your hair if you use any heat styling. It also doesn't hurt to throw a UV protectant in your hair to protect your color from the sun. I apply amika: Blockade to my towel dried hair to help it evenly distribute throughout my hair. I apply a nickel-sized amount of Verb Styling Cream, with its mild scent and creamy base, in the same fashion on my towel dried hair and comb through with a wide tooth comb and Wet Brush!

Finishing- Kenra Shine Spray

For everyday hair, I usually stay away from hair spray. I love hairspray, but I find myself touching and moving my hair all day long. So, I need something with less hold that still gives me a nice shine to my hair. Kenra Shine Spray does just that! A nice mist of shine spray gives me the touchable softness I love!
